Fresh onto the Irish music scene Cobh songwriter Jamie Stanton delivers a taste of Tennessee with his ‘cowboy’ style writing and chunky guitars. His latest single ‘Livin it High’ is styled as an Americana cocktail of Blues, Rock, Choral, Country and Western. Jamie continues to develop his songwriting skills across this diverse range of music genres, with occasional glimpses of Heavy Metal thrown in for good measure. Mainly drawing influence from Springsteen, James Hetfield, Seasick Steve and the late Rory Gallagher, Jamie strives to find common ground and unity in the music that inspires him.

Folklore, and true-life events inform his lyrics and the listener is encouraged to follow his footsteps through the story, sharing in both the experience and the environment. The release of his forthcoming album of original material Flying Colours signals the beginning of a fantastic new adventure for this young artist. He intends to “grasp the opportunity with all limbs”.
