Cobh Branch of O.N.E. Visit Cobh Community Hospital

The Cobh Branch of the Organisation of National Ex-Service Personnel ( O.N.E. ). Continued with its customary visit to Cobh Community Hospital on ST. Stephen’s day bearing seasonal fare for the residents and the staff. Not only the residents and staff look forward to this annual event, but also the O.N.E. members who get great pleasure from the occasion.

The branch members who made the visit in 2016 were;President, Diarmuid Higgins; Chairman, Tim Mc Cormack, Secretary, Michael Mc Carthy; Parade Marshal, John Walsh; Jim Roche; Fred Crudge; Tim Mc Sweeney; John Hennessy and Vice-Chairman, Domhnall ‘Dadaí na Nollag’ Mac Cárthaigh.

Hospital Staff Betty Drake, Helen Goggin,Megan Ó Keeffe,Margaret Deady and Rebecca Stanton were of great assistance to the O.N.E. Personnel during the visit, in particular, Betty Drake who escorted them throughout the hospital while always keeping a vigilant watch.
