Cork Harbour Islands Project (C.H.I.P.) will be holding their next Exhibition ‘The Way We Were: Queenstown/Cobh 1917 in September.
This year’s Exhibition will focus on local, national and international events in the year 1917 following on from one of the most important events in Irish history – The Easter Rising 1916 and a world still entrenched in World War 1 and will feature many interesting insights into life 100 years ago.
As usual we will be looking for any local (or otherwise) information, memorabilia and in particular photographs relating to 1917. Everything is of interest to us no matter how small as it is only by recording this information that it is preserved for generations to come.
