Santa Claus will arrive at the Pier Head in Cobh by boat on Saturday 5th December at 12 noon and will then be transported to his Grotto at the Sirius Arts Centre where children can visit him and get a parcel for just €5. Photos taken with him and printed on the spot will be available for €5 each or three for €10. Children are encouraged to drop into the free art workshop with Artykids in the Commodore Hotel from 2.30pm, guest choirs and musicians will be performing at the Christmas tree in the town centre and the Town’s retailers will have their shop windows dressed in spectacular fashion. At 4.30 pm Santa Claus will lead a torch lit procession from the Cobh Heritage Centre to the Christmas tree for more Christmas Cheer and the Christmas lights will be officially switched on at 5pm.
