40th Anniversary of the founding of Coláiste Muire
To mark the 40th Anniversary of the founding of Coláiste Muire, students were asked to design a special crest for the year of celebrations. Students were asked to consider the ethos of the school as well as the many opportunities that the school provides, in their design.
Sixth year student Taylor Wallace created the winning design and the school was delighted that past pupil and Graphic Designer Katie McGroarty volunteered to collaborate with Taylor to create a digital image that the school will now use as the official crest of the Coláiste Muire 40 celebrations.
Congratulations and thank you to Taylor for using her artistic talents to create such a fitting crest. Thank you also to Katie for giving of her time and talent to create the digital design. We would also like to wish Katie well in her new business endeavours and to take this opportunity to remind you all about our celebrations here in school on Saturday 1 April. Please spread the word and hopefully we will see many of you here on the day. Stay tuned to Facebook for regular updates on the big day!
