AMARENCO SPONSORS JERSEYS FOR COBH GAA

Cork-headquartered renewable energy company Amarenco has announced a new sponsorship with Cobh GAA Club. As part of the agreement, the company has become the official jersey sponsor for the club’s underage teams.
Amarenco has sponsored 125 jerseys for the club’s Under 7/8, Under 9, Under 12, Under 14 and Under 16 teams.
The company was presented with a framed jersey during a recent training session at the club.
Declan Cullinane, Managing Director of Amarenco said, “Cobh GAA is at the heart of the local community and has played a vital role in bringing people together for more than 100 years. We’re proud to help them continue that tradition and inspire the next generation of young players. We believe in investing in the communities where we are based as we work together to create a more sustainable future.”
Pat Doherty, Cobh GAA Executive Member said, “We are very grateful for the support of Amarenco. Sponsors help us grow and develop our teams and improve our facilities. It’s especially meaningful to partner with a local organisation that shares our values around sustainability and community. It’s fantastic to see our young players in their new jerseys. We hope this is the start of a long partnership with Amarenco.”
Amarenco has five operational solar projects in County Cork with several more under development. Construction has begun on a 5 MW solar farm, 1km north of Cobh. It will have the potential to generate enough electricity to power over 1,000 homes. Once operational, a Community Benefit Fund will be established for the local community.
