Cobh Credit Union Announces Online Special General Meeting

Cobh Credit Union is pleased to announce that it will hold a Special General Meeting (SGM) online on Monday 15th September at 7:30pm.
This important meeting will allow members to consider and vote on the proposed merger of Cobh Credit Union and Inspire Credit Union (Bishopstown).
The Board of Cobh Credit Union strongly believes that this merger represents the best way to secure the long-term future of our Credit Union, while enhancing the services and support available to members and our community.
Benefits of the Merger – Guided by the 5 P’s
1. People – Will ensure that members, staff, and the local community remain at the heart of everything we do.
2. Place – This merger will secure a full-service branch in Cobh, so that local access and service continuity are preserved now and into the future.
3. Products – Offering a wider range of financial services, such as current accounts, debit cards, deposit accounts, and mortgages, which is more achievable through a merger.
4. Protect – Cobh representation of 5 Director on the new Board will ensure a strong voice for members in the direction of the Credit Union movement and continued advocacy on their behalf.
5. Prosper – Promoting long-term growth and financial sustainability, helping the Credit Union thrive in a competitive financial landscape.
How to Attend
The SGM will be held online to make it easy for all members to join.
