Cobh Wanderers face College Corinthians in 1st Round of Sports Direct Men’s FAI Cup

The Draw for the Sports Direct Men’s FAI Cup First Round has been confirmed after being made at FAI HQ live on the FAI YouTube.
Last week, it was announced that the Sports Direct Men’s FAI Cup Preliminary Round, traditionally held ahead of the First Round of the competition, will now be held as the Sports Direct Men’s FAI Cup First Round.
League of Ireland Clubs will then enter the competition in the Second Round after the 20 Clubs contesting the First Round progress in the opening round of this year’s competition.
The draw is as follows:
College Corinthians v Cobh Wanderers
Wayside Celtic v Collinstown
Cockhill Celtic v Airfield United
Pike Rovers v Villa
Midleton v St. Francis
Wilton United v Glebe North
Ballyfermot United v Rockmount
Maynooth University Town v Gorey Rangers
The following sides received byes: Carrigaline United, Ringmahon Rangers, Leeds, Kilbarrack United
Ties to be played the week-ending Sunday, May 19.
