Cork GAA unveils jersey for 2025 season

Cork GAA has unveiled its 2025 jersey, with a design that harks back to the glory days of the 90s. The new jersey features a return to the collar, which is a jersey synonymous with Cork teams who dominated the game for a generation.

Sports Direct is the official partner of Cork GAA and the new jersey will launch online and in-stores today, October 24th. Fans can purchase the new home jersey in Sports Direct stores and on http://www.sportsdirect.com/ exclusively for three weeks.

Designed by O’Neills, the new jersey retains the traditional red and white associated with the Rebels. Amongst the other unique elements, there is an historic map of Cork city imprinted on the entire jersey. The map design includes the suburb of Blackrock and the Ballintemple site where SuperValu Páirc Uí Chaoimh is now located.

The new design is also the first time that the Cork GAA jersey features a sleeve sponsor, after McCarthy Insurance Group boosted its partnership for the season ahead.

Kevin O’Donovan, CEO of Cork GAA, said; “The launch of our new jersey is always an exciting time for the organisation and we are really happy with the design of the 2025 jersey. The collar and the old map are a nod to the long tradition that Cork GAA has in Cork and we hope it resonates with all our supporters – young and old. I would like to thank Sports Direct for their continued support of Cork GAA and we look forward to seeing the jerseys on display in stores around Cork.”

With the fans at the forefront, Sports Direct is offering customers €10 back off their next purchase with every Cork GAA home jersey or kit purchased in store only (given by way of voucher).

Sports Direct has six stores in Cork city and county located in Ballincollig, Bandon, Blackpool, Mahon Point Shopping Centre, Mallow and Midleton.

Some big names from the Cork GAA Hurling and Football panels will be in Sports Direct, Mahon Point on Wednesday, October 30th from 4.30pm to 6.30pm. Fans of all ages can meet their heroes and get their new jerseys signed.
