East Cork Cinema Club changes to Pricing Structure

We’d like to update you on a change to our pricing structure and new payment options, as mentioned at our last screening.
East Cork Cinema Club was set up in 2009 and our pricing structure for
membership and admission prices has remained the same since then. Over the past fifteen years two trends have emerged:
– Costs have increased and
– The number of those taking out membership has reduced.
In response to this, our committee has proposed two pricing options for our 2024-25 season, as follows:
- Individual Tickets for those wishing to purchase tickets for individual films will now be – €10 for general admission and €8 for seniors, students and unwaged
- A new 2024-25 Season Membership will be introduced. This will entitle Autumn Season membership holders to see all 6 films in the Autumn season – €40 for seniors, students and unwaged (which works out to less than €7 per film) and €50 for everyone else (less than €9 per film)
The same structure will apply for the Spring Season.
These memberships will be available until the second film in the Autumn and
Spring Seasons.
Card Payments Accepted
In addition, we now have SumUp which will be available to process your card payments.
We have absorbed the rising costs over the past number of years and have kept the Box Office fees the same for as long as we could. We hope you understand our reasons for making this change and we look forward to welcoming you back to our first screening on Mon 26th August. More details about the screening to follow.
