Christmas came early for Mrs Noreen Doyle, who was the happy winner of a Ford Fiesta, given away in a members draw of Cobh Golf Club. She got the lucky ticket from her son in law and golf club member Billy Burke. The retired school teacher’s own car is 15 years old, and she is delighted with the win. She decided to keep the same model and colour, and will receive her 2012 car in January. She is giving her old car to Billy as a thanks.
Steven Mulcahy, Captain of Cobh Golf Club, and Pat Harte, Sales Manager of CAB and also a Club Member of Cobh GC, presented car and keys to Mrs Noreen Doyle in the showrooms of CAB Motor Group in Blackrock, who are Cork’s No.1 Ford Dealer since 1925 and are today the only Premium Ford Dealer in Cork City.
Cobh Golf Club’s Captain Steve Mulcahy was delighted with his task, and he thanked all members who participated in the car draw, for their support. Cobh Golf Club has last year again managed to increase membership numbers, and has just announced a new joining scheme for small and large groups, making golf more affordable for everyone. Details of the “Buddy Membership Scheme” can be received from the Clubs office under (021) 4 812 399 or looked up on the Club’s website www.cobhgolfclub.ie .”
