Rowing Ireland sponsor, Avison Young extends congratulations to Irish rowers in Paris

Rowing Ireland sponsor, Avison Young, has extended its congratulations on a successful Olympics 2024 after the Irish rowers clinched two medals at the Games in Paris, including a gold for Paul O’Donovan and Fintan McCarthy.
The leading commercial property firm has been supporting Rowing Ireland for many years and once again is on board as a sponsor for 2024. This particular partnership goes back to 2016 and was started by Avison Young’s chairman, Con Cronin who has a long association with Rowing Ireland.
Principal and Managing Director of Avison Young in Ireland, Fergal Burke said: “At Avison Young we’re powered by people and that’s one of the reasons we became associated with rowing. We’ve seen the sensational growth in popularity of the sport in recent years and it’s really inspirational for the younger members of our team, in particular, to see the effort and dedication of the rowers. We are immensely proud to continue to support Rowing Ireland and we want to congratulate all the rowers on their achievements in Paris this week. We are particularly proud of Cork duo Paul O’Donovan and Fintan McCarthy who are once again bringing gold home to Ireland and we are sure that there will be major excitement in Skibbereen upon their return.”
Avison Young, which is celebrating 70 years in business in Ireland, recently met with the winning pair at the National Rowing Centre in Farran, Co Cork where they recorded a video to mark their partnership with Rowing Ireland.
The video can be viewed on Avison Young and Rowing Ireland’s websites and social media platforms.
