Self care for parents

Cobh PAKT will be running a 8 week parents group starting on Thur 1st may .
The group will focus on self care through a mix of discussion and activities.
Parents worker with the PAKT programme in Cobh YMCA Tricia Collins feels parents are so busy now juggling many demands and all too often self care is seen as a luxury. This is especially true at stressful times when self care goes out the window. I hope through the course to get parents thinking about what self care is to them, what helps them in stressful times and how to include that in daily life in the time that is available.
The course is free and will run for 8 weeks from 11 – 12.45 with refreshments included. It’s not essential that you commit to all 8 weeks, we understand people have busy lives and other commitments , equally if people have to come late or leave early that’s OK. If you think it will be of benefit just sign up either on https://forms.gle/TT3jg5ue2cHY4haz7 or contact Tricia on 0876168428
This course is funded through DCEDIY supporting parents fund
