45’s Card Game at Cobh Library

Wednesdays at 2pm

Come along to our weekly 45’s card game on Wednesday afternoons in the library. Lots of fun and a perfect antidote to the onset of autumn. No need to book, come along on the day.

Fáilte Isteach at Cobh Library

Tuesdays at 9.30am – 10.30am and 4pm – 5pm

Fáilte Isteach is a community project involving predominantly older volunteers welcoming migrants through conversational English classes. They hold conversational English classes in Cobh Library on Tuesday mornings from 9.30am -10.30am and Thursday afternoons from 4pm – 5pm. Haulbowline Theatre Group Performance at Cobh Library

Saturday October 12th at 2.30pm

Haulbowline Theatre Group will perform a trio of short plays at Cobh \library.

‘End To End Stuff’ and ‘Constable Corkery’s Soiree’ by David McCall, and ‘Swimmers Paradise’ by Joanne Geary are on the playbill.

Storytime at Cobh Library

Fridays at 3.30pm

Suitable for ages 3+, storytime is the happiest half hour of the week!  Great stories followed by fun colouring and creativity! 

And don’t forget we will be holding spooktacular storytime on Friday October 25th, costumes at the ready!

Library Babies Pre-Walker Group at Cobh Library

On Tuesday October 1st our Library Babies Pre-Walker Baby Group will welcome the mums from the local HSE Breastfeeding Support Group for a special Tots Time session to celebrate National Breastfeeding Week which runs from October 1st – 7th.

Library Babies runs every Tuesday morning from 11am.  This group is a perfect opportunity to meet other new parents and carers and let your little one make new friends.
