The people of Cobh are known to be big supporters of local causes. Fri 24th June was no exception with a large number attending a joint table quiz fundraiser for 2 voluntary groups; Cobh Playground Group and Breaking The Silence.
The table quiz took place at Cobh’s Ballynoe Inn, and once again Brian & Jenni’s team provided brilliant support. With local Quiz Master extraordinaire Patrick (Hammy) Hamilton at the helm, a very impressive €940.10 was raised on the night. Our sincere thanks to the following for donating raffle prizes; Cobh Tidy Towns, Cork International Hotel, Harbour Reiki (Tara Horgan), The Garryvoe Hotel, Candice Dalton and The Ballynoe Inn
Further information on both groups is available on Facebook pages “Cobh Playground Group” and “Breaking The Silence Cobh” plus in the local newsletters.
