Exclusive – Stephen O’Halloran Signs For Coventry City
COVENTRY CITY have snapped up Aston Villa’s Irish left-back Stephen O’Halloran on a free transfer. Sky Blues boss Aidy Boothroyd has agreed a one-year-deal with the 22-year-old Cobhman , who is expected to be formally unveiled tomorrow (Thursday).The player’s progress at Villa Park was hampered by a cruciate knee ligament injury, the defender – who has had loan spells at Wycombe and Swansea – passed a medical on Monday, agreed terms yesterday and is expected to be unveiled tomorrow. The one year deal shows that City boss Aidy Boothroyd has faith in the defender’s ability, but he want his fitness proved prior to offering an extended deal.
