The Cranberries Experience Cobh

Dolores O’Riordan, lead singer with the internationally acclaimed Cranberries experienced the best that Cobh had to offer in a private Titanic Trail Guided Tour and a harbour cruise yesterday. The singer who is the biggest earning female artist in America at the moment was in Cork for a one night performance as part of the Cranberries world tour which has already played to audiences in the US, Brazil, and Venice. They are due to be playing in Rome at the end of this week. Dolores met Michael Martin, author and Creator of the Titanic Trail. He provided herself and her husband with a Titanic Trail private tour and an accompanied harbour cruise operated by Marine Transport.  Dolores loved the history of Cobh and the harbour and was moved by the tragic history of the famine when Michael was speaking to her about Spike Island. She left Cobh with a very positive impression of the value of the heritage of the area.
