Jack Gilmartin’s fascinating free tours of the Old Church Cemetery will take place on the first Sunday of each month this summer. Starting at 2.30 pm at the main gate of the cemetery, the first tour begins today. The amazing history that spans over three centuries of this graveyard which has over 11,000 recorded burials is recounted in a very entertaining and captivating way by Jack. His depth of knowledge and witty style makes this tour unmissable

– Sirius Arts Centre – Fundraising Coffee Afternoon – 2.00pm – 4.30pm – In celebration of the year of Craft in Ireland Sirius Arts Centre is pleased to welcome the Cork Traditional Lace Makers to our galleries. From 2:00 – 4:30 the group will give a demonstration of traditional lace making with sample to purchase.
