Although very quiet on the team/playing front it has been an exceptional few weeks for some of our girls. Erica & Kate have been very busy helping St. Al’s get to the all Ireland Semi’s…
Our U14 girls have been making huge impressions on the Cork selectors….Sorcha McKeown, Aggie Higgins & Megan Foley getting call backs(2nd trial) with Aoife Sheehan getting the call up on the first trial On the Imokilly minor scene we had Erica Field, Kate Ronan, Naomi Cashman & Nicole Sawani making the blitz day, well done girls. but only Nicola O’Sullivan and Katie Sheehan got the call up to represent us for the East Cork Divisional Side. Our U14’s had a very convincing win over Blackrock on a freezing sunday morning up in the top pitch.
