Woodlawn Sportslink A v Springfield Ramblers – Venue: Woodlawn, Sportslink, Swords Road, Co Dublin 2.00pm
Next Sunday March 25th is another very important day in the current Schoolboys Football Season for the Springfield Ramblers Club as our Under 15 Premier League team are taking part in a Quarter Final Tie of the SFAI U15 National Cup Competition. The team has an away tie against Woodlawn Sportslink A of Dublin at Woodlawn, Sportslink, Swords Road, Co Dublin at 2pm.
The team has performed admirably in the games prior to this round. The boys emerged from the Cork side of the draw with a victories over Midleton, Clonakilty & Corinthians to qualify for the round of 32. An emphatic 3 nil home victory over Athy Town ensured place in the round of 16 where they beat Hartstown Huntstown of Dublin on a 1 nil score line in a great away victory to qualify for Quarter finalstage of the competition.
The Under 15 team under coaches Pat Hurley & Mick Nolan are in a comfortable position in mid table of the U15 Premier League table. The Club wishes the very best of luck to the lads in this very important game and hope the boys and their supporters have a very successful trip on Sunday afternoon.
