Chamber Titanic Commemorative Dinner – Huge Success

Cobh & Harbour Chamber hosted a special Titanic Commemorative dinner at the Commodore Hotel on Friday Evening with guest speaker Simon Coveney, Minister for Agriculture, Marine and Food.
A champagne reception with String Quartet awaited the very stylish and chic guests who dined on a Titanic 1st Class Menu. Guests included Cobh & Harbour Chamber John Sweeney and his wife Paula, Mayor of Cobh Jim Quinlan and his wife Grace, Michael Walley, Regional Chamber Chairman, Councillor Paddy Whitty and Development Manager of the Chamber Jo English.
The newly named Cobh & Harbour Chamber Citizen of the Year Award went to Jim O’Rourke. Jim is a very active member of Cobh Tidy Towns and has worked tirelessly over the recent years to help put cobh on the map. The Phillips 66 Award (previously Conoco Phillips) was awarded to Wilson’s Chemist of Cobh.
