13 volunteers worked in the sunshine on Saturday morning around Cobh. Painting of the low wall at Whitepoint was completed and there was also trimming of branches out by Cobh Golf Club. The benches along by Kennedy Pier were sanded, stained and the iron work painted black. More work went on replacing broken glass in the old street lamps and painting the fixtures.
Supermacs Cobh kindly offered us lunch when we finished up and we tucked into pizza and ice cream in the sun. Thank you to Supermacs and to all those who gave up some of their time to come out this morning.See you next Saturday at 10 am at the playground in Whitepoint.
