Cobh Wanderers are pleased to announce our return to senior football in the 2nd division of the M.S.L. next season. A management team of Eric McCarthy, Davin O’ Neill and Darragh Burke has been put in place for the coming season. The trio have been working tirelessly to have the best possible squad of Cobh players in place for the start of pre-season next month.
We are also pleased to announce the appointment of Jonathon O’ Mahony and Val Keenan as the new Junior management team. Johnzo and Val are stalwarts of the club and it’s great to see them make the step up to management and wish them the very best for the season ahead. This season will be a very important one for the club especially with our return to senior status.
We would ask that the football people of the town lend their support to the teams and make this a successful new era for the Club and most importantly for Cobh soccer. We, as a club, appreciate greatly the continued support of the people of the town through our Lotto and other fund raising events. The club exists to provide the opportunity and the facilities for players from Cobh to play football at the highest level of the Munster Senior League. We look forward with a positive outlook on the future.
