A disused building in Cobh Railway Station has been transformed into a new €150k state-of the-art tourism information hub and exhibition space following funding from South and East Cork Area Development (SECAD).
The newly renovated Cobh Maritime Building will be officially opened on Friday 19 September by the Cobh Maritime Development Company Ltd. The company was formed to manage and develop the building in partnership with SECAD, the Port of Cork, Cobh Heritage Centre, Cobh Tourism, Cobh & Harbour Chamber, Cobh Town Council and Cork City Council.
