On behalf of Cobh Pirates RFC, the Executive Committee are delighted to announce that Mr. Tony O’Malley has accepted the role of Club Trustee replacing the recently deceased, Mr Ken Beazley(RIP).
Tony will join John Barry, Michael Walley, Myles McCarthy and Ray Keating, collectively known as ‘The Trustees of Cobh Pirates RFC’ assigned under legal requirement as per the Club’s constitution to oversea the vested interests of the Club.
Tony, a well respected Clubman, has a long association with the Club having served in executive positions, such as Chairman & Hon. Treasurer and also serving a term as Club President.
On behalf of all members, I would like to congratulate and wish Tony well in his trusteeship. I’m sure Tony along with the other Trustees will ensure Cobh
Pirates RFC is well served and directed going forward in the years ahead.
Kieran McKeown
Chairman, 2014/’15
