The weekend of the 13th of June saw club members taking to the seas and roads of the local event in Monkstown and to the neighbouring county of Waterford to the picturesque Dunmore East for the By Hook or By Crook triathlon which is part of the Irish National Series.
Over 10 triathletes completed in Tri Monkstown. Mark McGarry finished an impressive second place overall and Sally Cudmore coming second in her age category. Meanwhile over 450 triathletes competed in Dunmore. Cobh Tri members had fantastic performances with 3 ages group wins and 3 personal bests achieved in what was an exceptionally competitive event. Well done to all.
