This Shrove Tuesday March 5th, Haulbowline Theatre Group performs its latest Skilligin’ adventure “A Tale of Skilligin’” in Ryan’s Bar at 9:00pm and in The High Chapperal at 10:15pm.
“A blizzard has hit the village and the hooley that has been planned doesn’t seem to promise much for the evening until an unexpected guest shows up. Could it be that Paidín, a lonely and unfulfilled farmer finally gets to achieve what he has been longing for?”
Admission is free but arrive early to avoid disappointment as the capacity of the venues is limited.
Also on the bill: Singaround with Jimmy Crowley and local singers – Ryan’s Bar 7-10pm & The Skilligin’ Ball with the Carrigcove Céilí Band – The High Chapperal 9pm-Late
Join us for a last night of craic agus ceol after your pancakes on Shrove Tuesday before the fasting for Lent begins!
