This Shrove Tuesday, February 25th, Haulbowline Theatre Group performs its latest Skilligin’ adventure “Diddly Ireland (Is Dead & Gone!)” in Ryan’s Bar at 8pm and in The High Chapperal at 9.30pm.
“Tourism in Cobh is flourishing and guided tours of the town are a feature enjoyed by many a visitor. A new tour, the brainchild of a frustrated and out-of-work local, commences tonight. It promises to be different!”
Admission is free but arrive early to avoid disappointment as the capacity of the venues is limited.
The production forms part of a wider series of Skilligin’ Day events celebrating the old Irish Lenten tradition and organised by well-known Cork musician, Jimmy Crowley.
The festivities kick-off at 1pm on the day and run until late. Full details are available on the group’s Facebook page: www.facebook.com/HaulbowlineTheatreGroup Please note that the group’s AGM will take place on Thursday, February 20th at Cobh Community Centre at 8.15pm. The yearly membership fee of €10 can be paid on the night. All members new and old are very welcome to attend
