Recruitment Open Day to be held in Cork City next week
Trigon Hotels is seeking to hire 40 people at its two Cork hotels. A wide range of positions, including sales & marketing, food & beverage and accommodation are available at the Metropole Hotel in Cork City and the Cork International Hotel.
There are full and part-time roles available and all new team members will be offered competitive rates of pay along with training and opportunities for career development within the hotel group.
A Recruitment Open Day will be held in the Metropole Hotel on Wednesday, March 27th from 2pm to 7pm. Candidates are advised to bring their cv with them on the day.
Trigon Hotels was certified as a ‘Great Place To Work’ last month after confidential team member feedback. This is the second year in a row the hotel group has successfully applied to gain accreditation as a ‘Great Place To Work’.
More than 180 team members completed a Trust Index Employee Experience Survey that measures the extent to which team members consider their workplace as a ‘great place to work’.
The certification is a reflection of how the hotel group understands the importance of supporting its team members through their careers, and in their personal lives in order to achieve a healthy work/life balance. In recent months Trigon Hotels introduced new gender identity, fertility treatment and menopause policies.
The hotel group also holds team appreciation days throughout the year with annual team awards, a long service award to celebrate the hard work and dedication of their team members, and even their very own ‘Trigon Celebrates Days’ where team members relax and enjoy a treat from the hotel.
Kathleen Linehan, Strategic Director of Human Resources at Trigon Hotels, said; “Our Recruitment Open Days offer us a chance to meet potential candidates to join our wonderfully diverse and inclusive team. There are roles available in both hotels as well as shared services and we can offer new team members full training and a range of benefits including pension & healthcare contributions, health & wellbeing support and competitive rates of pay. There is also a chance to progress in your career and we have seen many team members rise through the ranks to managerial roles. Trigon Hotels recent certification as a Great Place To Work highlights the efforts that are made to ensure all team members are supported in their work and we look forward to welcoming new members to our team.”
