On a damp Saturday morning seven volunteers came out to continue the Tidy Towns work of making Cobh Ireland’s Tidiest Town.
The footpaths from Spy Hill to the Marian Shrine were swept, three bags of litter were picked from the area above Cobh Heritage centre and five bags of litter were picked between Londis and Costcutter in Newtown. The cameras at the back of Moore’s place are working well with an on the spot fine issued to the individual who dumped garden waste there during the past week.
