On behalf of the Cobh People’s Regatta Committe we would like to say a special thanks to our main sponsor Mr.Patrick O’Shea & Staff of the Commodore Hotel. Also to Supermac’s for sponsoring the Queens contest, and to all the businesses who supported the Regatta weekend. We would like to say a special thank you to Padrig Lynch (Town Clerk) and staff of Cobh Town Council for their assistance over the weekend and of course Superintendent Golden and Gardai for their excellent work, and to all those that gave up their weeked to help with Security and our many events over the duration. Also a thank you to Peter Kidney for organising and taking care of the trading stalls.
To all who sponsored and supported our many fundraising events throughout the year, to the people of Cobh and visitors alike for supporting this annual event.
Recent feedback has been teriffic and many have told us that the Regatta was a great success, however, it would not have been possible without the kind assistance of all the aforementioned
The above drawing was the winning entry into the Children’s Art Competition in the Promenade on the Sunday. It was drawn by eight year old Alexandra Murphy of 11 Moore’s Place, Cobh. This drawing will feature on the front cover of the Cobh People’s Regatta 2012 programme
Thank You!!
