This calendar was launched last night in Sirius. It is a compilation of Rónán’s wildlife work from Cuskinny over the last twelve months or so. He has very generously donated his work to the Sirius Arts Centre. Many hundreds of hours were put in by Rónán and the calendar is stunning. While all of us who know him, also know only to expect the highest quality work from him, this collection is one that would sit comfortably in any international wildlife publication. It is a fantastic achievement and as a club we are very fortunate to have someone of Rónán’s talent and generosity as a member.
The calendar is selling for €10 which is very little for a publication of this rarity and quality. ALL proceeds ( as Rónán refused to take any reimbursement for his work ) goes to the Sirius Arts Centre. The Sirius is a wonderful resource and attracts many leading international artists. It is an amenity that Cobh has that most towns and cities do not. Like all cultural endeavours it is facing very challenging times and needs qour support. Calendars can be purchased in Sirius or online at http://www.siriusartscentre.ie/extrapages/calendar.html The calendar is a must for everyhome and every wildlife lover. It is a wonderful gift. If you can please support this project and encourage others to do likewise.
With every good wish,
Cobh Camera Club Committee.
