AST Rushbrook Clinic moves to new Centre

Dear friends,

We are writing to our friends and patients in Cobh to update you on some exciting changes that are currently taking place at AST.

Since coming to Ireland from Germany in 1995, we have been providing treatments in Cobh and we founded the AST Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation Centre in 2005. We now have clients from all over Ireland attending the clinic.

As you may be aware, we have been updating our facilities and investing in state-of -the -art medical equipment in order to provide the very best physiotherapy and rehabilitation services for Cork. We also recently branched out to a more centralised location in Little Island.

Many of you will know that although the ambience is unique at our premises in Rushbrooke, it is not idyllic for an utra-modern medical clinic. It is also a difficult location for patients from other areas of Ireland to access. Over the last few weeks, we have been considering our options for the future. We have unfortunately come to the realisation that it is not feasible for us to continue to provide treatments in Rushbrooke as well as Little Island. Therefore, we are regrettably ceasing treatments at the Dockyard.

Some things are not changing. Although we are disappointed that our clinic cannot continue to operate in Rushbrooke, our commitment to your wellbeing remains constant.

Cobh is our home and we have made many friends in the area, we really appreciate all the support that we have been given by the people of Cobh since coming to Ireland. We will miss seeing you at the dockyard, but look we look forward to welcoming you to the new AST Centre at Little Island.

With kind regards,

Adrian & Suzanne Tanzer
