Back to School, Back to Fitness
Ballymore Cobh AC will be running a Fit4Life course this autumn to help you get off the Couch and onto the Road.
The program is primarily for the beginner but would also be helpful to those who lack that little bit of confidence or are returning from a long term layoff and just need a push to get back into a routine.
This 7 week program is geared to getting you moving through nothing more than friendly encouragement and advice from experienced runners and also many who were in the same position not too long ago.
Once the 5k challenge is complete all runners can avail of weekly sessions to help the group learn more training techniques and integrate into this ever growing and friendly club.
The time for excuses is over, take the hardest step and register, after that it is as simple as one foot in front of the other.
Registration: Reg & Information Saturday 3rd Sept 10am, Ballymore Cobh AC Clubhouse (note: no training on this day)
Cost: €50 adult, €25 juvenile (15-17yrs only) (Includes annual membership to Ballymore Cobh AC and Athletics Ireland registration)
Training Times: Tuesday’s 7pm (First session 6th Sep) (Tech Field) Thursday’s 7pm (Tech Field).
Duration: 7 Weeks plus the rest of your life (provisional date for 5km run is 23rd Oct)
