Busy Entertainment Weekend Ahead In Cobh

An eventful weekend ahead in Cobh this weekend that kicks off with the Cobh Pirates RFC Annual Awards in the Paddocks on Friday 11th at 8.00pm. Live music will be provided by the acclaimed ‘Dirty Secret’. Finger food is being served and a bar extension is included. Admission €8.00

Saturday starts with the arrival of the 4,591 ton, 302 passenger, 135 crew cruise liner Adriana III which berths in Cobh at 8.00am on Saturday 12th June and departs again at approximately 4.00pm. One of the smaller liners to visit this year, with a length of just 340 ft, the Adriana III usually carries itself very majestically throughout the Mediterranean. This will be the liners second of three visits to berth in Cobh this year with it’s final vist on 18th June.

On Saturday afternoon the Cobh Chamber are back in swing with the ‘Fun of the Fayre/ Summer Swing – Roaring 40’s’ FREE entertainment between 3.00pm – 5.00pm (lets hope the rain stays away). Let the kids run free in the Promenade  while the parents take in the musical entertainmet at the bandstand. Also taking place on Saturday afternoon between 2.00pm – 5.00pm is the Park Road Centre Annual Fundraising Day where Jewellery, Accessories and clothes with tags can be bought and not to forget the ‘Teddy Bear Picnic’ for the kids. Saturday night the Rob Roy Bar has an 90’s night with local DJ Chris Courtney banging out all the favourites from the 90’s.

Sunday 13th brings the ‘Outreach Moldova Fundraiser’ at the Robin Hill Clinic. This ‘Alternative Family Fun Day at the Holistic Clinic in Cobh’ offers ‘taster’ treatments along with a BBQ, Bouncy Castle and Raffle prizes. More info here: http://cobhedition.com/?p=3437
