Now that the days are shorter and colder, it can be difficult to get going and keep going. To excel in life, motivation is essential but the question is how do you motivate yourself?
For our fourth event, we have one of Ireland’s leading Sports Psychologists teaming up with a local HR Consultant to give a talk on “Motivation”. Kevin Clancy is a Sports Psychologist who has worked across Ireland with a range of sports stars and Avril Quinn is a HR Consultant who works with both companies and individuals to help them achieve their goals.
Please come along to this beautiful venue for what promises to be a light hearted but informative event and in addition, a range of local shops will be showcasing their latest fashions to help you get ready for the Christmas season!
Avril Quinn and Kevin Clancy are associates of Motiv8, a high profile company working with Ireland’s top stars including the Leinster Rugby Team.
Avril is a HR Consultant who has worked at local, national, European & international level. As a HR Consultant, Avril works with a wide range of Public and Private Sector companies in relation to all aspects of HR requirements, recruitment & selection, development & training, employee relations, employment legislation, industrial relations, organisational design, etc.
Kevin is a Performance Psychologist/Mental Conditioning Coach with a wide range of experience across a number of different areas. He specialises in mental conditioning, leadership and team development in business, sport, education and life settings. He has consulted with some of Ireland’s top performers in the GAA, tennis, rugby, swimming, pole vaulting, athletics and soccer. He has delivered numerous workshops on motivation, confidence, concentration and engagement, goal setting and developing a winning mindset in education and business settings.
This event is part of the SECAD Catalyst project which provides opportunities for women to build connections with other business women and aspiring entrepreneurs throughout South & East Cork. The Catalyst Project in Cobh was established in association with Cobh & Harbour Chamber. The event also provides an opportunity to publicise your business so bring your business cards, flyers and brochures.
This event will take place on Wednesday, 16th November in Sirius Arts Centre, Cobh at 6.00 pm. We look forward to meeting you and we would be delighted if you would let other women in business know about the event and encourage them to attend.
For further details and to book a place, please contact the Chamber on (021) 4813612 or email: info@cobhharbourchamber.ie. The Cobh networking group is on Facebook so search for Catalyst Womens Business Network and sign up for this event.
