See You In Cobh, the cross community group that has delivered the Christmas in Cobh Programme of Events Guide for the past three years, as well as presenting a gift of EUR3,000 worth of Festive Lights to the People of Cobh to light the Bandstand in the Promenade at Christmas, is seeking fresh new talent to assist us in our exciting programme of events for 2010!
We usually meet for one hour every month to plan community events for Cobh to make it a Great Island! In addition to all the Christmas related events over the past three years like planning for Santa´s arrival in Cobh, Santa´s Grotto at the Sirius Arts Centre, our Christmas Concert and the sale of Christmas In Cobh Greeting Cards we have distributed souvenir QE2 bookmarks and partnered with other organisations to deliver the St. Patrick´s Day Parade and Australia Day in Cobh. We are a group with only one agenda – to make Cobh and the Great Island a better place to experience as a citizen and visitor alike.
We invite anyone who shares our energy, enthusiasm and ethos and who wishes to work with us on our exciting programme of events for 2010 to our next meeting in the Great Island Community Centre on Monday February 1st next at 8.00 pm – See You in Cobh!
