Cobh Branch of O.N.E. fly the flag for East Cork in Tullamore

C.E.O. of O.N.E. Ollie Ó Connor, on the left, presenting a suitably inscribed medallion to Domhnall Mac Cárthaigh of the Cobh Branch, at the O.N.E. 2014 Convention in Tullamore, Co. Offaly on Saturday 27th. September, in appreciation of his work on the National Board of Directors, especially his work in promoting the 'Fucshia' fund-raising appeal in Cork, the proceeds of which help to keep the three O.N.E. homes for the homeless open.

The Organisation of National Ex-Service Personnel ( O.N.E. ) held its Annual Convention and A.G.M. in the Tullamore Court Hotel, Tullamore, Co. Offaly on the 26th. 27th.and 28th. of September 2014, Cobh Branch by their presence represented East Cork. The following Cobh Branch members were present; President, Peter Byrne; Chairman, Tim Mc Cormack;Secretary, Michael Mc Carthy, and P.R.O., Domhnall Mac Cárthaigh.

At the Banquet on Saturday the 27th. the C.E.O. of O.N.E., Mr. Ollie Ó Connor, made a
presention to Domhnall Mac Cárthaigh in appreciation of his work on the organisation’s Board of Directors , particularly his promotion in Cork and County of the O.N.E. ‘Fuchsia’ f
und-raiser, the proceeds of which help to keep the three O.N.E. homes for homeless Ex-Service personnel functional. The presentation took the form of a suitably inscribed medallion.
