COBH CARILLON RECITALS – September 2018

The 91st year of hour-long recitals on the world-famous Carillon of St Colman’s Cathedral continues on Sunday afternoons at 4.30 during September, as follows –
9 September: guest recital by Dutch carillonneur Frank Steijns, who tours the world with the celebrated André Rieu Johann Strauss Orchestra;
16 September: guest recital by Treasa Edmonds;
23 September: guest recital by the Belgian carillonneur Eddy Mariën, Professor at the Royal Carillon School in Mechelen;
30 September: the season concludes with a special recital by resident carillonneur Adrian Gebruers to mark the 150th anniversary of the laying of the foundation stone of St Colman’s Cathedral.
These recitals are presented by the Cobh Carillon Committee and grant aided by the Arts Council and the Cork County Council.
