Bible Garden –  St. Benedict’s Priory, The Mount, Cobh open every day free to walk around or sit in beautiful surroundings. Tea rooms open Mon-Fri 10am – 4.30pm, home made scones, cakes, jams made from our own fruit and marmalade.

Jack Doyle Boxing Club Training Schedule – Monday 6.00pm to 8.00pm. Wednesday 7.00pm – 9.00pm. Friday 6.00pm – 8.00pm in the Convent for boxers aged 11 upwards. For our underage boxers, aged between 6 to 11, training is on at the Community Centre every Wednesday from 4.00pm – 6.00pm

COBH CATHEDRAL COMPLETED

The current programme of Cathedral Tours has now been completed, which provided hundreds of visitors from home and abroad both young and old with an intriguing insight into the history and architecture of St Colman’s. None of this would have been possible but for the dedication of the volunteer guides. In addition, contributions from visitors are being donated to the Pipe Organ Restoration Fund. Bualadh bos to all concerned!

Bible Study Course
All are welcome to a free-of-charge short Bible Study course taking place at St Colman’s Parish Centre, Cobh. Fridays at 8.00 pm. The focus is on the Old Testament Historical Books Joshua and Judges and is a short course with Fr John McCarthy. There are 6 one-hour sessions. Bring your Bible. Dates for your diary: September 30th, October 14th, October 28th, November 11th, November 25th, December 9th
