We are delighted to announce that we have launched our annual Christmas “Shop Local Campaign”. The aim of this campaign, which has been so successful in previous years, is to encourage people to shop in Cobh particularly during the lead up to Christmas. By doing so, people will be helping the local economy, ensuring the safety of local jobs and generating a “feel good” factor especially in the retail and hospitality sectors. This is vital now more than ever due to the difficult economic environment. Please check this website and our Facebook page regularly for further details on the campaign.
If you spend €5 or over you are entitled to put your name on your receipt and pop into the box in participating shops and you will be in with a chance to win some fantastic prizes. The draw will take place on Tuesday 18th December and our Mayor Sinéad Shepard will be on hand to pull the winners. Best of luck to all taking part in this very worth while venture.
