The Cobh & Harbour Chamber Summer Lunch will be held at the Commodore Hotel on Friday 27th May 2011 at 12.45pm. Guest speaker will be Mark Henry, Central Marketing Director, Tourism Ireland.
Mark Henry joined Tourism Ireland at the start of 2002. Tourism Ireland is the public body responsible for marketing the Island of Ireland to a global audience. He is engaged in developing Tourism Ireland’s advertising strategies in particular in regard to eMarketing and extensive global web presence.
Mark’s remit covers the entire Island of Ireland and has teams based in both Coleraine and Dublin. His role entails identifying the best approach for generating tourism to Ireland, understanding the island’s customers and to plan inspired and effective marketing strategies accordingly.
Prior to joining Tourism Ireland Mark was Strategic Development Manager with the Internet arm of Horizon Technology Group plc. Mark possesses Masters degrees in Psychology and Business Administration.
