Cobh Pirates Golf Classic

On behalf of Cobh Pirates RFC I would like to invite you to partake in our golf classic, to be held in Cobh Golf Club, on friday 27th August. The format for play is a 3 ball scramble.Tee times are between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. Teams of 3 are invited, at €90 per team. €45 of this will go to the host golf club with the remaining half going to the fundraising efforts within Cobh Pirates. We are currently strieving to raise money to re-juvenate our existing changing rooms, shower facilitiesand general clubhouse/grounds, to allow visitors enjoy the comfort which they deserve.

Cobh Golf club recently opened their new course and it is now maturing into a fantastic, challenging course.

“Cobh Golf Club is a members owned Club affiliated to the GUI and ILGU. The course is constructed to a high specification with USGA greens and tees and the Hawtree Ltd designed golf holes offer an interesting variety of challenges.
The course is a modest 6250 yards from the main tees, but the back tees extend its length to nearly 7000 yards, (Par 71) offering a stern test to even the best of golfers.”
