Munster Div 1 League & Clubs Challenge Cup have been redrawn due to decision to re-emit Kilfeacle into Div 1. Pirates’ will now host Clanwilliam RFC on Sunday Sept 16th in the Paddocks at 2.00pm KO in the Challenge Cup 1st Round. The league programme now starts on Sunday Sept 30th, with a home game to Tralee RFC at 2:30pm KO The full cup and league fixtures will be released later in the week.
Weekend Rugby:
Saturday 8th: Mini Training – all age grades 11.00am
Sunday 9th: Dennehy Cup 2nd round: J2 v Carrigaline RFC, 12:00pm at the Paddocks
Gavin Owens Benefit Night
Cobh Pirates RFC will be holding a benefit night towards Gavin Owens rehabilitation on Friday Sept. 28th; 8pm to late; The headline band are DIRTY SECRET plus support acts; Tickets are €10 each; Anyone who wants to donate prizes for a raffle. Please contact Kieran McKeown, 086 6794564 or leave them in with Alan at the clubhouse. Let’s get a good club turn out on the night and support Gavin – Tickets will be available from this weekend thru’ Club committee, players, at Clubhouse Bar and organising committee;
