Cobh Pirates RFC News 7th October 2012
Pirates had a good away win against St. Senan’s (Shannon) on Sunday, scoring a try and three penalties to win 14-11.Fergal Twomey got Pirates’ try and Eoin Geary kicked three penalties. The J2 team were not so lucky, going down 15-8 to Mitchelstown, Aaron Kelly getting a try in the corner and Cian Connolly getting a penalty.
Twenty five u/10s and their coaches attended the IRFU Rugby Festival in Ashbourne Rugby Club in Co. Meath on Saturday. They played teams from all four provinces and had a very enjoyable day out- tired but happy at the end of the day.
Next Sunday, Oct. 14th, MJL, Cobh Pirates v Old Christians 2.30 at the Paddock.
