Over the next few weeks Cobh Tidy Towns will distribute 3000 car stickers asking people to support the Tidy Towns effort by bringing their litter home or disposing of it in a responsible manner. These stickers feature the vibrant Tidy Towns logo and will be given out free of charge.
Cobh has been nominated in Ireland’s Best Kept Town competition in 2013 along with just 11 other towns and villages on the island of Ireland. Judging will take place in May. The judging in the National Tidy Towns competition will begin in June. Everyone can help as Cobh strives for a coveted Gold Medal this year. Please help your community shine in the Tidy Towns competition by displaying a car sticker with pride and help to spead the message that litter belongs in a bin.
