Saturday September 26th was the last day of the 2015 Triathlon Season. Members of Cobh Tri Club headed toYoughal for the Moby Dick Sprint event. Blue skies but challenging water met the crew from Cobh Tri but did not stop some fabulous performances. Jes Bruton was the 2nd lady home and and Alma Worrall and Billy Burke won prizes in their respective age group categories.
Whilst come members were in Youghal other members took on the challenge of Sandycove Island and all successfully completed the 1800m swim.
On a social front the club headed back to Spike Island recently and enjoyed the island and it’s stories from a different perspective. All club members took the boat as oppose to swimming to Spike!
Depsite the fact that the Tri Season has ended for 2015 members are still as busy as ever – members completed theBHAA Cork to Cobh run this weekend. Well done all.
Winter Training is the upcoming focus for the upcoming months and a return to the safety and warmth of Coral Leisure for swim training sessions. New members are always welcome and for more information please email info@cobhtri.com
