With winter training in full swing, here are a few updates and changes regarding training sessions.
SWIMMING LESSONS CORAL LEISURE CENTRE will start on the 3rd of november from 8.30pm every Thursday night for a period of 7 weeks bringing us up to Christmas. There will be 2 further 8 week blocks of lessons after christmas ensuring that everybody can improve their technique before swimming begins again in Cuskinny in April/May. The lessons are suitable for all levels including beginners and there will be 2 instructors present each night. The fee for the course is 50 euros paid directly to Coral Leisure and people can sign up prior to the date or on the night. The swimming sessions are open to non members of Cobh Tri before christmas but we would operate a policy of members only after christmas when the new subscription is due.
The club have also re-arranged the time for the Sunday morning classes in Coral Leisure. The new time is 9.45am. These classes vary between spinning, circuits, strength training and yogalates from week to week, and are excellent training sessions. These classes are also open to non members of Cobh Tri Club.
The Saturday morning running sessions are proving to be very popular, with people running routes of a 3 mile distance to 8 miles and even further! All members welcome, meet at 8am at Cuskinny. Keep up all the hard work and we will be sure to have a great season in 2012!
