Following an outstanding course that completed on 11th June that saw record numbers of trainees achieve work or further education course places, STEP is now recruiting for the July intake. Course coordinator James Bilson said’ “Given the level of interest in the course to date, it seems likely that we will be heavily oversubscribed again, so anyone who is interested should get their application forms in as soon as they can.”
STEP (the Support Training and Enterprise Programme) is a training course in Cobh YMCA. 21 weeks training will include the ECDL (European Computer Driving Licence), FETAC modules in Communications, Work Experience and Text Production (all at level 5) and other projects in personal development, health promotion, global youth work and recreation.
If you want more information or wish to apply for the course please complete and return an application form (available from our offices at 8 West Beach). The course is due to commence on 26th July and interviews will be held on 19th July, so please contact us as soon as possible to register your interest. Places are limited and interviews will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.
