Cobh Youth & Social Projects CLG have the following vacancies:

1 vacancy for an Administration Assistant – Great Island Community Centre

This role has a variety of activities which include the following:

Reception duties:

Telephone Techniques, filing, message taking, recording bookings, shredding, photocopying etc

Marketing duties:

Update and maintain social media sites including Facebook

Twitter etc.

Website design and maintenance, create pamphlet for the centre, contact various user groups and update them with Community Employment Information

1 vacancy for a Caretaker – Cobh Family Resource Centre

Duties include security of the building i.e. opening and closing gates, fire exits, .

Preparing rooms for meetings.

Maintenance of building indoor and outdoor which includes gardening, painting and general maintenance.

Eligibility to participate in Community Employment is generally linked to those who are 21 years of age and over and are in receipt of an Irish Social Welfare payment for 52 weeks or more.
